Tennis court lighting

High poles (15-18m)

Using high poles of 15 to 18m multiple tennis courts can be lighted with relatively few luminaires. This configuration can be equipped with both LED and conventional lighting. The choice depends strongly on the surface (gravel or all weather).

Most important advantages:

  • Relatively few poles.
  • Optimum visibility of ball and players.
  • With LED lighting immediate on/off switching is possible.

Low mounting height system (7m)

By applying a pole height of only 7m, obtrusive light in the surrounding area is minimised. This also results in a 20% higher light output of this typ of installation when compared to high poles. This configuration can be equipped with both LED and conventional lighting.

Most important advantages:

  • Maximum uniformity of the lighting in the playing direction.
  • Less obtrusive light in the surroundings.
  • Nicer appearance than high poles.
  • With LED lighting immediate on/off switching is possible.
  • Also very suitable for private tennis courts.
