To reach a good uniformity of the horizontal lighting level with few floodlights, on training pitches usually 4 to 6 poles with a height of 16m and 6 to 8 floodlights Aerolux type Egalux 2000 are applied.
On competition pitches, a high horizontal illuminance is reached by applying 6 to 8 poles of height 16 to 18m and 10 to 16 floodlights Aerolux type Egalux 2000.
By default for football pitches Aerolux applies lamps with a neutral white colour (4.400K). As an option it is possible to supply so called daylight lamps with a higher color rendering index and a cooler color temperature (5.400K). |

The design of the lighting installation is based on application of the floodlight Aerolux type Egalux 2000.
For training and competition level a high horizontal illuminance is reached by applying floodlights Aerolux type Egalux 2000. Moreover with this floodlight the segments and the middle section are well lighted.
With only 16 floodlights an average horizontal illuminance of 100 lux is reached, which satisfies class III of the European standard EN 12193 for sports area lighting. |

For equestrian, where one wishes a good and uniform lighting level in combination with low power consumption, the floodlights Aerolux type 1000 BU and type Egalux 2000 are best suited. In combination with poles of minimum height 12m, shadows, which can scare the horses, are avoided.
For training (class III) a horizontal illuminance of 120 lux is reached by applying 4 floodlights Aerolux type 1000 BU. With only 4 floodlights Aerolux type Egalux 2000 an average horizontal illuminance of 260 lux is reached, which satisfies class II of the European standard EN 12193 for sports area lighting. |
