The design of the lighting installation is based on application of the floodlight Aerolux type Egalux 2000. To reach a maximum vertical illuminance Aerolux places the masts in the corners of the tennis court.
The advanced floodlight Aerolux type Egalux 2000 has a 30% higher efficiency than existing 2000 Watt floodlights. By this the same or an even higher lighting level can be reached with less floodlights. Moreover the Egalux 2000 has a much flatter asymmetrical lighting distribution, by this the loss of light in the surroundings will be minimized.

The design of the lighting installation is based on application of floodlights type 1000 BU. The very flat asymmetrical lighting distribution of this floodlight in combination with the low pole height of 7m minimizes the loss of light in the surroundings. This results also in a 20% higher yield of these types of installations than conventional lighting installations. Moreover the advanced positioning of the masts guarantees a very high uniformity in the playing direction.
Aerolux applies more floodlights of 1000W (4 to 8 per court), this results in a very high uniformity the illuminance in the playing direction, compared to conventional installations with 2000W floodlights. This lighting installation offers the highest visibility with the least glare in the surroundings.
