Aerolux International BV is an international trading company in sports area lighting. Aerolux International is part of the Aerolux-group, consisting further of Aerolux Nederland BV. Aerolux develops and produces its own high efficiency floodlights from aluminium. During 20 years of experience in sports area lighting we have become a leading company in supplying lighting installations for all kinds of sports.

Since each sport and the level of competition have different requirements regarding artificial lighting, we provide you with the complete lighting system, i.e. floodlights, lamps, control gear and masts, which are optimized for their purpose. Aerolux plans and supplies outdoor- and indoor lighting installations for all kind of sports, e.g. tennis, soccer, athletics, hockey etc., and from one single tennis court to complete lighting installations for stadiums. We have lighted many thousands of sports fields in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary, Russia and the Caribbean.

Aerolux developes the most important component of the lighting installation, the floodlight, by itself. For example the floodlight Aerolux type Egalux 2000. This modern and compact floodlight has an ultra high efficiency of 80%, which is 30% higher than conventional 2000 Watt floodlights. By this the same or an even higher lighting level than before can be reached with less floodlights. Due to the special asymmetrical lighting distribution of the reflector, this high efficiency is combined with a very high uniformity of illuminance.

The Egalux 2000 is only suitable for the new generation of compact metal halide lamps. In combination with the very flat asymmetrical lighting distribution (Imax=55°) the light can be aimed better and more efficiently and light disturbance in the surroundings will be minimised. Furthermore the new lamps provide a 10 % higher light output than metal halide lamps with screw holder. 

Due to this, one can save both investment and energy costs. The Egalux 2000 is especially suited for the renovation of obsolete lighting installations.

Aerolux also has developed the low mounting height system (7 m) with the floodlight Aerolux type 1000 BU for tennis courts. This system provides maximum visibility of the tennis ball and minimizes loss of light in the surroundings.

For indoor tennis Aerolux developed the efficient lighting system Aerolux 2x400 IN. This system guarantees the lowest investment and energy costs, whereas the lighting level is suited for competition tennis.
